What happens to a file that fails?

It stays in the batch with an error and a Try again button, up to three attempts.

Does the original file stay?

Yes. Conversion writes a new file and never replaces the source.

Where does the converted file go?

Beside the original by default, or any folder you choose. Converting into a folder shared with other people asks you to confirm first.

Why is one of my files not in the list?

A file has to be fully uploaded and processed before it can be queued. Anything left out is listed with the reason.
